Disaster Relief Team
First Baptist Church of Webster is proud to offer a team of trained individuals that make up a team for our Southern Baptist Florida Disaster Relief. We are always looking to add more team members who would like to participate in any capacity. We have day trips for training, ministry opportunities, and call-outs to help in the time of a disaster. You can train for many things like food, showers, chaplaincy, chainsaw & recovery, administrative, childcare, logistics, and safety! Please see Brian Stafford or call 352-250-3825 to sign-up. Current Status “Active”
As many know hurricane Ian has been very destructive to Florida. Our DR teams have been deployed to 9 current locations to start helping those affected by its path. They are assessing, ministering, removing drywall & debris, tarping roofs and feeding at least 10,000 meals in each location! If you are interested in assisting at any of these locations as a day volunteer please call the church office or visit the following link.
Chaplaincy Training
Nov. 2nd-5th
We will be heading out to Hillcrest Baptist Church in Pensacola Florida for Chaplaincy Training! They are graciously housing and feeding us during this course.
