First Baptist Church of Webster

We aren’t a big flashy church; there are times that we sing off key and even fumble with words when we are called on to pray. You won’t find perfect people in our church family… We have scars, sins, and baggage but because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have Hope. Praise God we are Loved, Forgiven, and are a work in progress!

Founded in 1891, known as a ‘praying church’, we are located in the Central Florida community of Webster, famous for one of the states largest outdoor farmers market. We preach and teach God’s Word. We still sing the same beautiful hymns of yesteryear, while incorporating current praise and worship with contemporary and gospel music.

We are all on a journey together to know God better. Whether your journey just began or you have known God for years, there are opportunities here to deepen your relationship with God. Adopt A Teacher

Nothing says we appreciate you like a card, a little candy, or a text to say “We’re Praying For you”! If you are interested in “Adopting” one of our Middle School or Elementary School teachers to just love on this school year please call the church office. You don’t have to purchase anything extravagant! (unless you want to!) You just simply show our teachers at least once a month that they are loved and appreciated for their dedication to the education of our students.
