First Baptist Church of Webster
We aren’t a big flashy church; there are times that we sing off key and even fumble with words when we are called on to pray. You won’t find perfect people in our church family… We have scars, sins, and baggage but because of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have Hope. Praise God we are Loved, Forgiven, and are a work in progress!
Founded in 1891, known as a ‘praying church’, we are located in the Central Florida community of Webster, famous for one of the states largest outdoor farmers market. We preach and teach God’s Word. We still sing the same beautiful hymns of yesteryear, while incorporating current praise and worship with contemporary and gospel music through the sweet sound of our celebration choir.
We are all on a journey together to know God better. Whether your journey just began or you have known God for years, there are opportunities here to deepen your relationship with God. Women’s Bible Study
Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm
Join fellow women as we gather each Wednesday night to study our new series on Paul.
To Live Is Christ, best-selling author Beth Moore travels on a spiritual odyssey through the life of one of Christianity’s most fervent journeymen, the apostle Paul, tracing his story from childhood to martyrdom.
Paul’s undying passion for Christ continues to inspire and challenge those with a deep spiritual hunger for the things of God. Readers will be greatly refreshed by the obvious mercy of God that causes those who have failed him to repent and serve him wholeheartedly and effectively.
